Handwriting Without Tears

($15 additional cost for book)

Handwriting Without Tears is a great fit for your classrooms. It uses multi-sensory techniques that teach print and cursive in a way kids understand.  They discover that lines form letters and the letters represent sounds.  And when put together, they create words, which build into sentences.  With each new skill, they unlock the endless possibilities of reading.  (https://www.lwtears.com)

We will be covering 8 basic concept areas: God, Jesus, Bible, church, family, self, others, and the natural world. These foundational teachings will help our preschoolers learn more about their world. Our teaching method is through learning centers. Preschoolers will choose from art, blocks, home living, music, nature, puzzles, and manipulatives where activities have been planned to help teach the topic of study.  Teachers will teach through use of conversations, stories, songs, prayer, and Bible thoughts as preschoolers are involved in doing.
